Before Photos & Concept Sketches
This Spanish bungalow in Long Beach was purchased by a young couple as their first home, shortly after welcoming their first child. The property required significant updates—especially the kitchen, which was originally closed off and compartmentalized. One of their main goals was to create an open kitchen and reconfigure the bathroom to better accommodate their growing family's needs. Throughout the design process, it was important to us to honor the home’s Spanish Revival character. We achieved this by incorporating warm materials and minimalist details that complemented the original style while giving it a fresh, modern feel.
